‘The Eagle has landed’. If you are of a certain age you would almost certainly have been one of the 600 million people who watched the flickering black and white TV images of Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin taking their first steps on the lunar surface. Never before had so many people tuned into a single event at one time.

And who can forget those immortal words of Neil Armstrong as he uttered what is possibly the most famous phrase ever spoken ‘That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind’.

When something is described as being ‘out of this world’, this implies that it is extremely good or impressive. We hope you are dazzled and equally impressed by our stellar collection of space age lighting.

Sun and Moon Pendants

It is hard to believe that these amazing Sun and Moon pendant lights are, in fact, made from recycled cardboard. Called Scraplights, they are designed by a talented group of young American designers from Seattle and are made from scrap corrugated cardboard. The shades are laser cut and assembled by hand using non-toxic adhesive and are treated with a non toxic fire retardant. As they are hand finished there are slight variations in colour and corrugation making each pendant unique. Providing warm, intimate and functional lighting that is equally at home in commercial environments as it is for lighting around the home. Old cardboard boxes have never looked so good!
