Do you struggle to keep your indoor plants alive or do you buy flowers with your weekly supermarket shop? If so, we may well have some good news for you, as we have just introduced a new range of fantastic faux plants and flowers that simply thrive on neglect – they are very long lasting, low maintenance and certainly do not need watering.
Bespoke Lights have teamed up with designer Abigail Ahern to bring you an exciting range of faux plants and flowers. These are not just any old artificial flowers and are definitely a cut above those you will usually find. They have a well-deserved reputation with interior designers and are often seen in floral displays in top restaurants and hotels. Not only do they look great they feel ‘real’ too – superb quality with intricate detailing and a beautiful colour palette come as standard and they cost a lot less than you might imagine.
I expect you are wondering what faux flowers have to do with lighting – well the short answer is not a lot. However, here at Bespoke Lights, we know that our customers are keen to source quality accessories that will add the final finishing touches to their rooms. So we are delighted to be able to introduce you to the world of Abigail Ahern.
Abigail began her career as an interior designer in the States and on her return to Britain in 2003 she opened her London interiors boutique – a veritable Aladdin’s cave stuffed full of an eclectic mix of curated treasures. In 2015 she launched her own brand label which now includes furniture, lighting, accessories, textiles and of course her wonderful faux floral boutique of plants and flowers.

Here are a few of our favourites from Abigail’s floral boutique.
A beautiful realistic rose pink flower stem based on a classic tea rose bloom that evokes all the summer scents of an English country garden. Arrange a few stems in your favourite vase and place on a hall table to create a fresh welcoming feel to your home.
This lovingly created green peony flower stem takes its inspiration from the much sought after Chinese green tree peony and features two blooms on a single stem.
If you are looking for more of a focal point this impressive bulrush grass is definitely worth the investment – a large feature plant that stands 1.3 metres tall. Bulrushes are tall reed like plants with dark brown velvety catkins that are found growing in the wild beside lakes and ponds. This faux indoor specimen creates a subtle naturalistic look that is great for rural homes and country house hotels.
Indoor florals and houseplants are very much back in vogue and we hope you have enjoyed having a quick look at a few of Abigail’s faux flowers and plants. Check out our website for more of her wonderful creations.
