Great collection of pewter, zinc and aluminium lighting brought to you by Bespoke Lights. Our pewter light fittings are always in our list of best selling lights. They are great value lights and perfect for traditional homes. Pewter is an alloy composed largely of tin with a bit of copper and can be cast to make light fittings that do not tarnish or discolour easily. Pewter can be polished to give a long lasting finish that is similar to stainless steel but with a more old fashioned antique or aged silver appearance and will only need a quick clean with a soft cloth.
Zinc is an attractive metal which is greyish white in colour and in its natural form has a slightly dull appearance that lends itself to being used for rustic style lights and kitchen pendants. It can be dipped to give a galvanised look which is very popular for using in industrial and retro style light fittings. Zinc lighting is durable and currently very fashionable.
Aluminium is corrosion resistant and used widely in the manufacture of exterior light fittings. Garden and outdoor lights made from die cast aluminium are long lasting, good value and need little maintenance. They are often powder coated or painted in different coloured finishes. Aluminium is also used to produce metal ceiling pendant lights that are finished in a whole host of vibrant colours. These make great retro style lights for using over table and as kitchen island lighting.
