We are certainly getting into Christmas mode here at Bespoke Lights and as usual struggling to find the right gifts for all our family and friends. This perennial problem haunts many of us every year – just what do you choose for those that are ‘hard to please’, or ‘have everything I need’ or even those that simply say ‘I don’t need a present’. If you are running out of ideas, why not consider lighting up someone’s Christmas by giving the gift of light.
Table lamps make wonderful presents and with hundreds to choose from you will be sure to find one to suit even the ‘hardest to please’. They can give a lifetime’s pleasure and offer easy lighting solutions for almost any room – desk lamps, bedside table lamps, coffee table lights or hall table lights in a whole host of styles and colours. They can be moved from one location to another easily and can be taken with you if you move. Table lamps are not just for Christmas!
Our collection of smaller size Tiffany table lamps make great presents not only for Christmas but for any occasion. They may be small but they do not lack any of the style and design we expect from good quality Tiffany lighting. Hand crafted using Art Glass they are great for adding a little interest to dark corners or for lighting in alcoves or even as small bedside lights. Super gifts that can be cherished for years to come. The Lorette, on the right, features dragonflies depicted in amber, red and blue stained glass on a small scalloped edged shade. The base is in aged brass with lovely relief detailing. The Art Nouveau style Willow lamp, shown left uses the stylish rose pattern that was so typical of Scottish designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh. As with nearly all Tiffany lamps they look just as good even when not switched on.
Copper introduces a real warmth and shine that looks stunning for the festive season. Our Buccaneer copper table lamp is shown here complete with a luxurious taupe silk shade – other shade colours are available. This lovely rustic lamp has a hammered copper vase like base so reminiscent of the simple hand crafted copper light fittings from the Arts and Crafts era and is a great choice for lighting in country homes, cottages and farmhouses where this simple rustic look works really well.
A more contemporary look this time with the stylish Ultra table lamp. It has a bright copper tapered base that will catch any natural daylight and when lit creates a lovely warm feature light. It is teamed with a vibrant orange linen shade to provide the ultimate in modern luxury at an affordable price. Stylish contemporary lighting at its best.
